Este trabalho tem como objeto de estudo o Estádio Nacional do Jamor, e pretende abordar a relação entre poder e arquitetura através de duas vertentes, sobre as quais se incide: a vertente ideológica, para a compreensão das qualidades e gostos da criação arquitetónica no período do Estado Novo, e a vertente
psicológica, usufruindo da teoria da Einfühlung e da teoria da Gestalt como ferramentas para a compreensão do Estádio Nacional.

This work has the Nacional Stadium of Jamor as research topic, and in tends to approach the relationship between power and architecture through two aspects, on which it focuses: the ideological aspect, for the understanding of the qualities and tastes of the architectural construction in the period of Estado Novo,
and the psychological aspect, using Einfühlung’s theory and Gestalt theory as tools for understanding the National Stadium.
