contexto académico, este trabalho promove a aproximação à prática profissional,
tendo em consideração as problemáticas e o percurso histórico do local.
Este caderno representa o desenvolvimento de um ano de trabalho, realizado
parte em turma e parte individualmente, com o propósito de aprofundar a
compreensão do processo de projeto em arquitetura e do seu resultado. O trabalho
completa-se com o projeto final e os desenhos correspondeste em anexo.
É realizado um estudo sobre diferentes bibliotecas por todo o mundo,
desenvolvido em turma no formato de casos de estudo. A primeira parte deste caderno
compila esse trabalho coletivo, realizado em paralelo ao trabalho individual,
completando-se com os trabalhos preparatórios desenvolvidos sobre o território
de Benfica.

work promotes engagement with professional practice, taking into consideration
the site’s issues and historical background.
This notebook represents the development of one year’s work, undertaken
partly as a class and partly individually, with the purpose of deepening the understanding
of the architectural design process and its outcome. The work is completed
with the final project and the corresponding drawings presented in the annex.
A study of different libraries worldwide was conducted, developed as a
class in the format of case studies. The first part of this notebook compiles this
collective work, carried out in parallel with the individual work, concluding with the
preparatory studies developed on the territory of Benfica.
