Este documento surge no âmbito da conclusão do 6º Curso de Mestrado em
Desenvolvimento, Diversidades Locais e Desafios Mundiais – Análise e
Gestão, promovido pelo ISCTE – IUL.
O mesmo tem como objectivo perceber quais as estratégias de vida das
Pessoas Portadoras de Deficiência Física devido a Guerra em Angola,
residentes no Lobito.
Assim sendo, o objecto de estudo para este trabalho de investigação foram as
Pessoas Portadoras de Deficiência Física devido a Guerra, residentes nos
Bairros do Luongo e Vinte Sete, que são os pólos de maior concentração desta
população no Município do Lobito, Província de Benguela.
Como método de investigação foi utilizada a pesquisa de terreno, tendo sido
usadas como técnicas a aplicação do inquérito por questionário, a observação
participante e ainda a análise bibliográfica.
Quanto aos resultados da investigação, pode-se dizer que a mesma serviu
para identificar quais as estratégias de sobrevivência que as Pessoas
Portadoras de Deficiência Física adoptam. Dentre essas estratégias identificouse
o kilapi, a kixikila, os negócios, o processo de kupapata, entre outras.

This document arises in the scope of the conclusion of the 6º Course of Master
in Development, Local Diversities and World Challenges – Analysis and
Management, promoted by ISCTE – IUL. The same has the objective to
perceive which the strategies of life Bearers of Physical Deficiency due to War
in Angola, residents in Lobito - Benguela province.
Thus being the objective of study for this work of inquiry, the bearers of Physical
Deficiency due to War, residents in the Neighborhoods of Luongo and Twenty
Seven which are the poles of bigger concentration of this population in Lobito.
As inquiry method, land research was used.
Having been used as techniques the application of the inquiry by questionnaire,
the participants comment and still the bibliographical analysis.
As regards the results of the inquiry, it can be said that the same served to
identify which strategies of survival bearers of Physical Deficiency adopted.
Among those strategies- the kilapi was identifyed, the kixikila, the businesses,
the kupapata process and others.
