The main goal of this applied study is to verify and to deal with controversial subjects on incentives given to medical doctors, in order to assure a medical devices supplier’s products will be used; in lieu of prioritizing the medical device’s aggregate value, as well as the best pricing policy. In this regard, the role of the medical devices sales executive turns out to be fundamental to guide and advise as to the importance of the aggregate value of the products he or she sells, in order to be seen as a investment consultant. The study shows the importance of training and development, of formal education for a sales professional as preparing human capital. The study shows the behavior of the sales professional inside the organization and the positive sum competition through value adding, leading to the conclusion that people should not be regarded as perishable resources to be consumed, but as human capital, intellectual, an intangible asset that is not on a corporation’s Balance Sheet, and, lastly, the study shows the need for a sales executive to realize she is in a globalized world and the main attitudes for individual as well as team success. The future belongs to “Organizations that Learn”.
