O problema do desenvolvimento agrícola e rural de Angola, na sua generalidade, não se
encontra afectado por questões de falta de terra ou de mão-de-obra. Salientamos que a
agricultura garante trabalho, moradia e alimentação a maioria da população deslocada.
A agricultura tradicional antes da independência participava na produção de bens de
exportação e fornecia alimentos básicos para o mercado interno, além de garantir a
subsistência familiar.
O objectivo deste trabalho visa analisar as relações socio-económicas da população
cafeícola familiar, que estiveram na base do desenvolvimento da agricultura angolana
antes da independência. A pequena produção cafeícola é encarada como uma fórmula
para incrementar as rendas dos pobres e assentar as pessoas deslocadas.
Um outro aspecto, é a apresentação de alguns elementos que possam servir de base à
elaboração de um modelo alternativo para a produção cafeícola angolana centrado nos
pequenos camponeses familiares, após o regresso as suas terras de origem.
De acordo com os objectivos fixados, o estudo incidiu sobre a produção cafeícola
familiar na região do Golungo Alto província de Kwanza Norte.
Nos dois primeiros capítulos do nosso trabalho, identificamos os pressupostos do
modelo de desenvolvimento dominante a partir da análise critica da teoria clássica.
Nos capítulos III, IV, V e VI, colocamos em evidência as ideias base que estiveram na
base o declínio da produção agrícola particularmente do café logo após a independência.
Nos últimos capítulos (VII e VIII), contemplamos uma hipótese alternativa de
desenvolvimento elaborada pelo Governo angolano, com particular incidência na
reestruturação do meio rural e no enquadramento das populações deslocadas.

The problem of the agricultural and agricultural development of Angola, in its
generality, does not meet affected by questions of man power or land lack. We point out
that agriculture guarantees work, housing and feeding the majority of the dislocated
population. Traditional agriculture before independence participated in the production of
exportation good and supplied basic foods the domestic market, beyond guaranteeing
the familiar subsistence.
The objective of this work aims at to analyze the socio-economics relations of the
familiar population cafeícola that had been in the base of the development of Angolan
agriculture before independence. The small cafeícola production is faced as a formula to
develop the incomes of the poor persons and to seat the dislocated people.
One another aspect, is the presentation of some elements that can serve of base to the
elaboration of an alternative model for the centred Angolan cafeícola production in the
small familiar countryman, after the return its lands of origin.
In accordance with the settled objectives, the study happened on the familiar cafeícola
production in the region of the High Golungo province of Kwanza North.
In the two first chapters of our work, we identify the estimated ones of the models of
dominant development from the analysis criticize of the classic theory.
In chapters III, IV, V and VI, we place in evidence the ideas base that had been in the
base the decline of the agricultural production particularly of the coffee soon after
independence. In the last chapters (VII and VIII), we contemplate an alternative
hypothesis of development elaborated for the Angolan Government, with particular
incidence in the reorganization of the agricultural way and in the framing them
dislocated populations.
