A par do balanço
“outros”.

Through bibliographical research this thesis set its main goal in
recovering the old theme of “children's enculturation”, seen by
the bulk of today's anthropology of childhood much as an
“adult-centric logic” that supposedly suppresses the children's
“point of view” and ignores their capacity to “agency”. Together
with a critical bibliographical review over such scenario, we
have established a dialogue with two remote groups of huntergatherers,
a classic of primitivity, that instead of representing, as
many times admitted, a carefree type of education, were able to
show us rather clearly how their children grew up desiring to
become valuable adults. A good expectation for the theme's
recovery, that similarly to what it did in the past is able still
today to establish a common ground between “we” and “they”.
