Times Higher Education (THE)
In October 2022 the THE World University Ranking 2024 was published, positioning Iscte at the top 1000 universities in the world. This is one of the most important university rankings, where more than 1700 universities are ranked, from more than 90 countries, a growing number of participants, comparing to the previous year.
In 2021, Iscte was ranked for the fifth time in the Young Universities Ranking, which includes the world’s best universities that are aged 50 years or under. This year Iscte ranks 177th world position and 3rd at a national level, being the first in what concerns teaching and research.
Iscte was also ranked in the THE Subject Ranking for the third time in the 2021 edition in the following areas: Psychology, Business & Economics, Social Sciences, Computer Science and Arts and Humanities.

The university ranking of the Times Higher Education (THE), founded in 2004, provides a ranking of the world's top universities, assessed through teaching, research, citations, international perspective, and industry income.
