(Portugal) Forecasts point to a 50% increase of cancer incidence by 2030. Radiotherapy is one of the best treatments available and dosimetry is mandatory. However, in some treatments it is not performed due to the lack of a suitable device. Our invention solves the lack of dose monitoring in regimes requiring a very sensitive, flexible and small dimension device. We seek for a 200 k€ investment, with a payback predicted at the 1st year of sales. We are 2 physicists and 1 bioengineer with 25 years of experience in radiation detection, with support from an economist and a successful entrepreneur.
