The Master's Degree in Digital Transformation Management in the Health Sector (ManagiDiTH) is an international program coordinated by Iscte, which aims to train healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, social workers and other technicians) for the ongoing digital transformation process in the sector.
In addition to Iscte, the Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) participate in this program. Teaching is provided by teaching teams from these three institutions in English. The program takes place online, with synchronous and asynchronous components, following the most recent pedagogical guidelines for Distance Learning. The flexibility associated with this teaching regime allows students better time management and greater reconciliation between study and professional and personal activities.
The study plan is organized into three semesters (a total of 90 ECTS credits), developing skills in three main components: societal, digital and health. Within the scope of the digital component, students choose between two areas of specialization: data science or interoperability, according to their interest and training profile.
The program is especially suitable for professionals (current or future) with various academic backgrounds, including healthcare, social work, ICT and organization management. Candidates must have a degree and can come from all European Union countries.
As the course is financed by the European Union, tuiton feed are free.
