This postgraduation course provides the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences in computer tools, technologies and information systems, essential in any context or organization, in the present information and knowledge society.
It is especially aimed at professionals or graduates in scientific areas with a lower component in informatics - namely journalists, teachers, educators, managers, mean and senior managers in companies, psychology professionals, sociology or history, health professionals, etc. - who wish to upgrade or obtain skills in information technology, to achieve professional retraining, or to undertake scientific research.
This course provides specialization in Information Systems Development, or Information and Knowledge Society. In each school year, one of the specializations may be chosen.
