Álvaro Rosa is a professor of Management. His areas of research and study are Strategy, Governance and Cross-Cultural Management. In addition, he is also a researcher and teacher of Chinese Studies, namely Contemporary China. Currently, he is the Director of Master Degree in Chinese Studies, a joint program of University of Aveiro and ISCTE - IUL. Professionally, he is a coach and trainer in negotiation techniques.

With a PhD in Business from Tilburg University in The Netherlands, Ana lectures at the Iscte Business School on the topics of Strategic Management and Sustainability, Ethics and Social Responsibility. She is currently Associate Dean for Engagement and Impact at Iscte Business School. As an integrated researcher at the Business Research Unit (BRU-Iscte), her work has appeared in various publication outlets, including the Journal of Business Ethics, Public Management Review, International Journal of Sustainable Development and World Ecology or Social Responsibility Journal. She served as Associate editor of the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education and Topic editor of Sustainability. Ana is also collaborating as Guardian of the GRLI Council (Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative), Head of Programmatic Work at PRME Chapter Iberia, and serves as Quality and Sustainability Liaison person for the Iscte Business School. In the past, Ana served as Deputy Director of the Department of Marketing, Operations and General Management, member of the Scientific Committee of BRU-Iscte and coordinator of the Prosperity dimension of Sustainability at Iscte, and as an Expert in the ISO TC323 on Circular Economy. Ana has additionally complemented her academic training with various professional qualifications, including the GRI Certified Training Program, Harvard Business School’s online Sustainable Business Strategy course, and certifications as Advanced Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Professional, as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Certified Facilitator, and as Certified Facilitator in Pro.Play®.      

Aristides I. Ferreira is an Associate Professor at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Portugal, where he is the Director of the Master programme in Human Resource Management and Organizational Consulting. He is also a member of the Scientific Board and a researcher at the Business Research Unit in the same institute. He earned his PhD in Psychology from the University of Minho (Portugal) and had a Postdoctoral in Management at the Free University of Berlin (Germany). He has been teaching courses related with Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and Change Management in several Undergraduate Degrees, Master and PhD, mainly in Management Degrees. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Association of Psychological Assessment since 2018. His research interests include psychological assessment, leadership, creativity, change management and presenteeism. In recent years, he has been a researcher in several funded research projects and has collaborated with several private organizations. His research work has appeared in journals such as the International Journal of Project Management, the Journal of Business Research, the British Journal of Management and the Journal of Organizational Behavior.

His academic journey includes visiting scholar collaborations at several international institutions, such as the University of Memphis (TN, USA), University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Chengdu, China), Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (CHIH, Mexico), University of Kaiserslautern (Germany), and Central College of Commerce (Scotland). Currently, he serves as Full Professor of Strategy and Decision Analysis at ISCTE Business School, University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), where he coordinates the PhD program specialization in Strategy and Entrepreneurship and directs the Executive Master in Management (for non-Business Administration graduates). Additionally, he holds the position of Adjunct Research Professor at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis (TN, USA). Fernando has authored books, book chapters, +170 peer-reviewed papers, and has made +200 conference presentations. He has also delivered keynote and invited speeches at conferences worldwide, including in Albania, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Spain and South Korea. His work has been published in leading international journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research (ABS 4), Annals of Operations Research (ABS 3), Energy Economics (ABS 3), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (ABS 3), Journal of Business Research (ABS 3), Journal of Small Business Management (ABS 3), Journal of the Operational Research Society (ABS 3), R&D Management (ABS 3), and Technological Forecasting & Social Change (ABS 3). He also serves as Associate Editor and/or Editorial Board Member for several international journals.  In terms of practical experience, Fernando is a Senior Manager at Montis West Corporation (TN, USA) and has +25 years of experience as a group facilitator. He has provided consultancy services and/or executive education to both private and public-sector organizations. Some of the notable entities he has collaborated with include Caixa Geral de Depósitos (Portuguese state-owned banking corporation), Fidelidade Insurance Company (market leader in Portugal), Infraestruturas de Portugal (Portugal’s rail and road infrastructure manager), Metropolitano de Lisboa (state-owned metro company), Amplexor/Acolad (global leader in digital services), and PERI Brazil (one of the largest providers of formwork and scaffolding solutions in Latin America). He has also served as evaluator for numerous international projects funded by European research bodies, including the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in the Netherlands, and the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. His primary research interests include multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), strategic decision-making, and integrated systems for performance measurement, with a particular focus on the banking and real estate sectors.

Helena holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University, UK. She is full professor of accounting at Iscte Business School in Lisbon, and previously worked at Bayes Business School in London. She had visiting positions at the University of Miami in the US, where she was a Fulbright Research Scholar, and at Sydney University in Australia. Her research interests are on financial markets, corporate governance and international financial reporting. Helena participates regularly in top international conferences such as meetings of the European Accounting Association, American Accounting Association, and European Finance Association. She is often invited to speak at seminars, conferences, and doctoral meetings of prestigious European and US universities. Helena's research has been published in top journals in accounting and finance, such as the Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, European Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Auditing and Finance, and Journal of Business Ethics. Her research findings have been used by international organizations dealing with corporate reporting issues, such as the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), the CFA Institute, and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). Helena serves the community taking roles in various committees of the European Accounting Association, as associated editor of the journals European Accounting Review and Accounting Business Research, and as a member of evaluation panels for recruitment and for PhD grants. During her career, Helena managed various research projects funded by the Portuguese Science Foundation FCT, participated in an European Training Network, and won several awards including Best European PhD thesis in Management by EDAMBA, best conference papers, and best reviewer. Helena has also been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to develop a one year research project at the University of Miami in the US.

Is professor at ISCTE since 2000. In the present moment is associated professor in the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Behavior (HROB). Has the Agregation degree in Human Resources (ISCTE 2020); PhD in Organizational and Social Psychology (ISCTE 2007), related to Cooperation and Free-riding on organizations; Master in Organizational and Social psychology about Ethics and Responsibility (ISCTE 2001) and graduated in Management (ISCTE 1991). During his professional career he had participated in the evaluation of EU programs, had been human resource manager at a financial institution (1993-1998) and assumed a technical HRM job at a major company in the car sector (1990-1993). His research interests are subordinated to uncertainty,cooperation and counter-productive behaviors in teams, as well to the relationships between HR practices and the establishment of power asymmetries and trust on organizations.

Isabel Lourenço is Full Professor and Director of the Accounting Department at ISCTE-IUL. She has a PhD in Management (specialization in Accounting) from ISCTE-IUL. She has about 30 years of experience teaching accounting topics in several academic programs (Bachelor, Master and PhD Programs) and Executive education programs at ISCTE-IUL. She is a visiting professor at the University of São Paulo, where she teaches regularly in the Master and PhD programs in accounting. She has also been teaching and giving leatures at other universities in Brazil and at universities from other countries including the University of Glasgow, the Coventry University, and the University of Lille. She is an Integrated Researcher at the ISCTE Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL). She regularly presents the results of her research at the most prestigious international scientific conferences. She has authored several scientific papers published in leading scientific journals including, for example, the European Accounting Review, Accounting and Business Research, Accounting Forum, Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies, and Journal of Business Ethics. She has also authored more than 10 accounting text-books. She has played an important role in the bodies that regulate accounting in Portugal. She is the Coordinator of the Corporate Accounting Standardization Committee of the Portuguese Accounting Standards Board (Comissão de Normalização Contabilística). She is also member of the jury of the Exam of entrance to the Portuguese Association of Chartered Accountants (Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas).  Currently, she is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Payshop and IMGA.

José Dias Curto is full professor at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL Business School, Quantitative Methods Departament) and investigator at Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL), Lisboa, Portugal. He earned his PhD in Quantitative Methods for Management from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), MA in Management from Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) and Bachellor's degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia, Portugal. His primary research focuses statistics and econometrics with applications to finance, accounting and economics. Maria João Major (publication name, Maria Major) is Full Professor of Management Accounting and Control at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal). She holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, UK and a Post-doc from the Manchester Business School, UK. Maria João was visiting researcher fellow at Alliance Manchester Business School, UK in 2016 and at Griffith University, Australia in 2001. She has published in academic journals such as ‘Management Accounting Research’, ‘European Accounting Review’, ‘Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal’, ‘Accounting, Organizations and Society’, 'Financial Accountability & Management', ‘Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management’ and ‘Public Money and Management’, among others. Maria João is also the author or co-author of several books and international book chapters. She is on the editorial board of ‘Qualitative Research on Accounting and Management’, ‘Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change’, ‘Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management’ and earlier on the editorial board of the ‘European Accounting Review’. She is additionally active in refereeing articles for a number of leading accounting journals. Maria João has served as member of scientific committees in several international accounting conferences. She was the convenor of ‘Manufacturing Accounting Research (EIASM) 2016’ and of the ‘European Network for Research on Organizational and Accounting Change (ENROAC) 2011’ conferences. Aditionally, Maria João has received teaching awards as best professor. Prior to joining ISCTE-IUL she was Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics where she taught in the PhD, Master, Bachelor and Executive Education programmes.

Sandra Costa is an Assistant Professor and Researcher at ISCTE-IBS. She holds a PhD in Management from Nova SBE. She teaches a variety of courses in HRM, OB, Organizational and Occupational Psychology, and Quantitative Research Methods at different universities: University of Liverpool (UK), Nova SBE (PT), Universidade Europeia (PT) and IPAM (PT). She published in academic journals such as the Journal of Vocational Behavior, Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, British Journal of Management and Work & Stress. She is now Principal Investigator in a Foundation for Science and Technology -funded project.

Sandra Loureiro belongs to that 2%. Sofia Kalakou, Assistant Professor at ISCTE Business School since 2018. Director of BSc in Industrial Management and Logistics. PhD in Transportation Systems (Instituto Superior Técnico, MIT-Portugal program). Sofia has previously worked as a transport consultant and researcher on transport planning, passenger and cargo modelling and forecasting, simulation of airport operations, integration of new technologies in transport systems, performance assessment and sustainability.
