Supply Chain Management
Abel Camelo is currently Project Manager in different projects / companies, mainly related to the implementation of technology, applying the Agile and Waterfall approaches. He also acts as a instructor/trainer, nationally and internationally, in the area of ​​technology, project management, business analysis, industrial production and logistics. Previously he was responsible for Infosistema's Business Consulting unit, where he managed and participated in process improvement projects with Lean Six Sigma, BPM implementation and portals development (in OutSystems and other technologies), business continuity, digital transformation (UX / UI Design), among others. His experience focuses on reengineering and process improvement, business analysis for organizational processes. He has participated in multiple national and international projects, as a consultant and functional analyst, allowing him to identify and implement improvements in clients and to contribute to the increase of the performance of the business processes. From 2011 to 2014 he worked as a consultant in entrepreneurship projects, business plans and investment analysis, guiding future entrepreneurs and promoting entrepreneurship in projects of various sectors of activity. Since 2009 he teaches in higher education, in the areas of operations management, logistics and project management, to undergraduate and master's degrees. He holds a degree in Industrial Management and Engineering and a Master in Business Administration from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, holds postgraduate degrees in Energy and Bioenergy, in Lean Management and in Information and Enterprise Systems. He is certified in Project Management and Business Analysis by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a IEFP certified trainer, among other professional certifications.

Associate Professor - with a Habilitation in Information Science and Technology - in the Department of Information Science and Technology (DCTI-ISTA). Degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering (5 years course). MD and Ph.D. in Social Psychology. Researcher at Information Sciences, Technologies and Architecture Research Center (ISTAR-IUL). Involved in projects related to applied computing, gamification, technology acceptance, cybercultures, information society, information systems, technologies and education, adolescence, childhood, music, education and learning, suicide prevention, virtual communities, gaming, and social networks. Member of some scientific Associations, such as the Centre for Studies in Suicide and the Portuguese Society of Suicidology. In short, he focuses his work on data science and applied computing in the study of human behaviour in different contexts. He is also the author of many scientific papers, book chapters, and some books, namely, 'Jogos Sérios - A Arte de Gamificar' (Serious Games - The Art of Gamification), ‘O Desafio da Morte’ (The Challenge of Death), Illusions in the Age of Emotions’, or 'O Desafio da Vida' (The Challenge of Life). He has participated in several scientific events and other actions toward the community. He has also participated in radio programs, has always enjoyed playing sports, and advocates a sustainable world and a healthy life, being vegetarian.

Álvaro Rosa is a professor of Management. His areas of research and study are Strategy, Governance and Cross-Cultural Management. In addition, he is also a researcher and teacher of Chinese Studies, namely Contemporary China. Currently, he is the Director of Master Degree in Chinese Studies, a joint program of University of Aveiro and ISCTE - IUL. Professionally, he is a coach and trainer in negotiation techniques.

Ana Conceição (publication name, Conceição, A.) is an Assistant Professor of Management Accounting and Control at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal). She holds a PhD from ISCTE-IUL. Prior to joining ISCTE-IUL she was Professor at Escola Naval where she taught Accounting, Auditing and Financial Management.

Carlos Hernandez Jerónimo is passionate about the development and evolution of professional management in organizations, challenging and helping several clients on a daily basis to reinvent their business models and find elegant solutions to complex problems with a focus on measuring value and predictability. He has a degree in Computer Science and Telematics from Univ. de Aveiro and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from ISCTE, founding partner of Winning Scientific Management, has divided his career between management consulting and academia. As a specialist consultant he is responsible for the implementation, customization and design of methodologies and application systems to support Strategic Management, Benefits, Portfolios, PMO's, Programs and Projects, aligned with the most important and recognized international frameworks, in several clients in the area of banking and insurance, transportation and logistics, retail, health, construction, telecommunications and information systems. Currently assumes the responsibility for technical innovation, development and quality assurance of the services provided in the Health and Public Administration sector.  Executive Director of the Executive Master in Program and Project Management of ISCTE Executive Education, Guest Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL and expert trainer, holds the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP), proven experience through more than 10,000h of teaching, counting in his curriculum with the design and development of several hundred reference courses in Strategy, Business Cases, Business Analysis, Project Management and Cost Management and preparing several hundred candidates for PMI® certifications. PMP® Certificate (Project Management Professional) by PMI® (Project Management Institute - USA), MCP Certificate (Microsoft Certified Professional: Managing Projects) by Microsoft, ITIL Certificate by EXIN and MCI Certificate (Management Consulting Institute) level 1 certified.  He is mentor, guest speaker in several management events. He was also Vice President of PMI Portugal from 2015 to 2018.

Mariza Alpoim Motta Queiroz is an economist with more than 30 years of experience in a public transport operator. She has also a MSc in Transportation and a PhD in Transportation Systems at CERIS, in the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Vice-chair of the Research in Mobility UITP Committee. Presently, she is an Invited Assistant Professor at the ISCTE- Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, and a member of the U-Shift Lab (IST - Instituto Superior Técnico). Florinda Matos is PhD in Social Sciences, Organisational Behaviour Studies, by the University of Lisbon. She has a master’s degree in Business Sciences from INDEG/ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Agricultural Business, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomic Engineering, both by the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. She is a Professor at ISCTE Business School – University Institute of Lisbon, where she teaches several courses in the areas of management. Also, she is a professor of knowledge management at IPPS-IUL - Instituto para as Políticas Públicas e Sociais and she is an invited Professor at several international universities. As DINÂMIA'CET – IUL, Centre for the Study of Socioeconomic Change and the Territory integrated researcher, her main research interests are Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital Management, Measuring of Intangibles, Sustainability, Innovation, Additive Manufacturing and Digital Transformation. She was a post-Doc researcher in the Social Impacts of Additive Manufacturing at NOVA.id.FCT and led the project KM3D - Knowledge Management in Additive Manufacturing: Designing New Business Models, in a national consortium, funded by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. She is currently the national coordinator of the CATALYST - European VET Excellence for Leading Sustainable Systems and Business Transformation project, in a European consortium made up of 36 partners, led by academic institutions from Germany, Austria, Greece and North Macedonia. Florinda is a member of the scientific committee of several international conferences, where she has participated as an organiser, speaker, mini-track chair and reviewer. She has more than 40 published academic articles and scientific papers, chapters, and books. She has also been an active participant in the press, where she has published more than 200 articles of opinion on issues of economic and social actuality, being invited to several podcasts. She is currently Conference Chair of the following conferences: ISM 2023 - International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing; ECKM 2023 - 24th European Conference on Knowledge Management; and ECRM 2023 - European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management. Presently, she is associate editor in the area of Economics and Business at Journal Heliyon (Elsevier); a Guest Editor of Springer International Publishing, Journal Meditari Accountancy Research (Emerald) and Journal Sustainability and is also a Topical Advisory of the Journal Knowledge. In addition, she is a member of the Editorial Board of Revista Mátria and Revista Mátria Digital, edited by the Research Center Professor Doutor Joaquim Veríssimo Serrão (CIJVS). She is coordinator of the Thematic Line "Digital Transformation" at the Sociodigital Lab for Public Policy and member of the implementation team of the AI4PA Digital Innovation Hub. As an intellectual capital management expert, Florinda is the founder and the president of the Intellectual Capital Association (ICAA), whose mission is to help transform intellectual capital into added value by contributing to sustainable development. Also, she is a member of the New Club of Paris, an international organisation whose main objective is to create awareness about the Knowledge Economy. Moreover, she is promoting an award alongside the Portuguese public institutions to encourage and reward companies that value Social Sustainability. Also, she is the ambassador for Europe of the International Conference on Knowledge and Innovation (CIKI), organised by Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil). Henrique O'Neill is Associated Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management at ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal. He received his M.Sc. degree from IST/UL in Lisbon and the Ph.D. degree from the Cranfield University, United Kingdom. His research interests are broadly focused on the adoption of information systems and communication technologies to foster business performance, including business, operations and IS/IT strategy, modeling methods and approaches, organizational analysis and processes design, implementation and acceptance, and the quality of information systems in industry sectors like healthcare, banking and finance, the public administration and manufacturing. Research interests focused in the area of ​​Consumer Behavior and Relationship Marketing, namely in the implications of technologies (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, IoT) for Marketing, with published articles in several scientific journals such as Tourism Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Business Ethics among others. Jonas Oliveira holds a PhD in Accounting from the School of Economics and Management, University of Minho, Portugal. He is an Associate Professor of Accounting at ISCTE-IUL Business School, Lisbon. He has previously worked at the University of Aveiro as Adjunct Professor of Accounting. His research interests are corporate risk reporting, enterprise risk management, corporate governance mechanisms, impression management strategies used in corporate reporting, sustainability and integrated reporting. He publishes academic articles regularly in some internationally well-recognized journals such as the Managerial Auditing Journal, Meditari Accountancy Research, Australian Accounting Review, Corporate Communications: an International Journal, European Business Review, and Journal of Risk.

Leandro F. Pereira is an Associate Professor of Strategy at ISCTE. He is also CEO and Founder of WINNING Consulting, a consultancy firm with more than 300 employees dedicated to management and technology consultancy. Leandro Pereira has a PhD in Management with a specialisation in Project Management from the University of Salamanca and a degree in Management Informatics from the University of Minho. He has more than 200 indexed scientific publications and more than 10 published books. In 2017, Leandro Pereira received the Best CEO of the Year award from Best Team Leaders and Revista Pessoal, as well as the best student award from the University of Minho in the academic field. Leandro Pereira is the Director of the Executive Master's Degree in Programme and Project Management and the Postgraduate Diploma in Agile Project and Business Management at ISCTE Executive Education. Throughout his career he has supervised dozens of PhD students and several hundred Masters students. He was also founding president of PMI Portugal and the Business Case Institute. Leandro Pereira is an international expert in the areas of Strategy, Project Management, Problem Solving and Benefits Realisation Management.

MARIA HELENA PESTANA has been a professor at ISCTE since 1982. She holds a PhD in Quantitative Management Methods in the area of Market Research. She is a researcher in Statistics, Econometrics, and Data Analysis applied in the fields of Demography, Economics, Finance, Gerontology, Management, Psychology, Health, Sociology, and Tourism. She is the author of books and scientific articles in national and foreign publications. She is a researcher at Unifai-Universidade do Porto and researcher-collaborator at Dinamia_ISCTE and CEPCEP_UCP. CINTESIS, Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde,Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP), www.cintesis.eu. Helena received a certificate from the PSE company that represents in Portugal the IBM-SPSS for having pioneered in Portugal the first books of statistics and data analysis complemented with SPSS and its applications (1998, 2005, 2009, 2014). In the last 20 years, research interest has been directed essentially towards the application of multivariate analysis (quantitative/qualitative), scientometrics/bibliometrics, programming, big data, social networks, and the like with applications in the field of health and social sciences.

Mónica Meireles is Assistant Professor at ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon and Researcher at BRU-IUL (Business Research Unit). She is director of the Master degree in Business Economics and Competition. She was director of the Undergraduate degree in Economics at Iscte (2018-2020) and vice-director of the Department of Economics at Iscte (2014-2010). Her main research interests are in energy and environmental economics, where she has focused on renewable energies, environmental policies, sustainable development and growth models with technological change. She has been a consultant for the Portuguese Environmental Ministry and the European Commission and she has also supported the Ministry of the Environment with Environmental Economics training. She is a member and founding partner of the Portuguese Association for Energy Economics (APEEN), affiliate of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), in whose conferences she participates regularly, and currently belongs to the Fiscal Council of APEEN. Among others, she is also a member of the Iberian Association of Natural and Environmental Resource Economics (AERNA) and she was a Board member of the European Association of Young Economists (EAYE) (2016-2018). She teaches in different areas, with particular emphasis on the Economics of Environment and Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Economics and Microeconomics at different academic levels.
