The degree in Politics, Economy and Society is an innovative programme in Portugal, which provides the fundamental basis for understanding, working and intervening in a complex world. Following the international trend towards interdisciplinarity, this Degree provides students with theoretical and empirical knowledge, analytical and technical skills, and critical thinking in the areas of Political Science, Economics and Sociology, necessary for understanding and consequent action in contemporary societies.
Taking advantage of its inclusion in a School of Digital Technologies, it allows students to acquire advanced data processing and analysis tools, as well as knowledge of programming and artificial intelligence.

We live in a world that is constantly changing. Political, economic, social and technological aspects contribute to this transformation. Understanding and intervening in complex societies like today's requires the combination of different areas of knowledge about the major transformation processes ongoing.
The Degree in Politics, Economy and Society offers solid training in the core areas of the programme, also giving each student space to choose several elective courses, from a very wide range of choices, so that they can deepen their knowledge in the areas that interest them most.
