The Degree in Digital Technology and Sustainable Built Environment responds to the challenge of creating efficient and sustainable buildings, infrastructures and cities in a scenario of technological transformation. To this end, this degree offers unique training that enables students to integrate technologies such as information-rich three-dimensional models, Building Information Modelling (BIM), software development and automation, Artificial Intelligence or Reality Capture to develop innovative solutions.

The course prepares students to work in multidisciplinary teams, combining the learning of construction systems and methods with digital technologies. Classes are geared towards real projects, often in collaboration with leading companies in the sector, with a focus on environmental sustainability and teamwork.

Taking advantage of its location in a School of Digital Technologies (Iscte-Sintra), the course combines subjects such as Mathematics, Programming, Modeling, Construction and Entrepreneurship, with teachers from both the academic and professional worlds.

We are committed to innovative teaching methods that put students at the heart of the learning process, both inside and outside the classroom. Teaching activities are organized to facilitate self-study (with morning or afternoon shifts) and encourage practical, interdisciplinary learning.

We have designed this course to train professionals capable of transforming the construction and city management sector, contributing to a more sustainable future. Students on this degree will be able to work in engineering offices and architectural studios, as well as in project management and construction companies.
