On 24 March, around 100 ISCTE-UESTC doctor of management alumni and students participated in the Annual Alumni Meeting 2018 held in Chongzhou Sichuan China. Prof. Nelson António, Prof. Virgínia Trigo and Prof. Ana Passos from ISCTE, and Prof. Yongkai Ma and Prof. Wen Xiao of UESTC gave lecture and presented speech.

In addition to academic workshop on thesis writing, the annual meeting celebrated nine (9) graduates who completed their doctoral study in 2017, and welcomed twenty six (26) students who joined the program last October. The meeting was held at a beautiful countryside with a theme of “nature” and “insight”, signifying “back to nature and origin to explore insight”.

ISCTE-UESTC joint doctor of management program has recruited 199 students from 22 provinces in China since 2009. Fifty (50) students have successfully completed their studies. The scientific research guided by professors of both universities on frontline research topics in a dynamic business environment in China, have contributed to both management practices and international literature on Chinese management.
