Iscte Professor Virgínia Trigo has been awarded by the President of the Republic of Portugal with the Order of Public Instruction. The ceremony took place at the General Consulate of Portugal in Guangdong (People's Republic of China).

Professor Virginia Trigo currently works as Director of China Programs for ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon. She resides in China (Guangzhou and Chengdu) where she manages two high profile DBA programs officially approved by the Ministry of Education of China in cooperation with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Southern Medical University.
