The Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme SPOT – Social Psychology of Transformation is an innovative international programme focused on Social Psychology for progressive social change, with the aim of fostering fairer, more equitable and diverse societies. Applications for the inaugural cohort are open until the 25th of January 2025 (for students applying for a scholarship), and until the 30th of June 2025 (for students who are not seeking a scholarship).
Coordinated by the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin (Germany), this programme brings together partners including Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), the University of Padua (Italy), Tallinn University (Estonia), the University of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and the University of Niš (Serbia). Throughout the programme, students will have the opportunity to study at three of these European universities and participate in internships at partner institutions in these countries. The curriculum can be accessed here.
This pan-European collaboration ensures that students benefit from a comprehensive education, delivered both in-person and online.
Each year, up to 20 scholarships will be awarded to selected students, enabling them to take full advantage of this specialised programme.
Graduates of the Social Psychology of Transformation programme will be uniquely positioned to lead in various fields, from social policy and community psychology to organisational consultancy, research, and psychosocial intervention. The programme also qualifies students to practice as psychologists in multiple countries.
The Master’s programme is funded by the European Union and will run from the 1st of October 2024 to the 31st of October 2030.
