O presente trabalho de projeto pretende contribuir para o alargamento das práticas culturais de expressão artística e do reforço das relações com os públicos. Numa primeira parte, este trabalho debruçar-se-á sobre os conceitos de públicos da cultura e práticas culturais expressivas, tendo sempre como ponto principal a oferta e a receção cultural. Neste sentido é essencial referir qual o papel do Animador Cultural, como intermediário entre a oferta e a procura, ou seja, entre o agente cultural e o público. A investigação empírica deste trabalho pretende responder à questão “Como contribuir para dar visibilidade às práticas culturais expressivas junto dos públicos?” a partir da realidade existente na cidade de Leiria, na perspetiva da Animação Sociocultural, e tem os seguintes objetivos: dinamizar os espaços e indústrias culturais de excelência criativa, atribuindo-lhes maior visibilidade pública; promover as artes expressivas existentes na cidade de Leiria, aproximando-as dos públicos; reforçar a importância que as indústrias criativas, culturais e as associações recreativas têm na formação e intervenção das artes e cultura na comunidade; preservar e promover os equipamentos culturais e promover a capacidade de intervenção das artes expressivas através de um festival de artes anual, com a colaboração dos equipamentos culturais, associações culturais, museus, galerias de arte, escolas de formação em artes (musica, dança, teatro…) e a autarquia. Neste sentido, o projeto consiste em realizar um festival de artes dirigido à comunidade Leiriense e em que esta possa participar ativamente na dinâmica artística e cultural que os agentes culturais oferecem. The present work of project pretends to contribute to the enlargement of the cultural practices of artistic expression and strengthening of relations with the public. In a first approach, this work will focus on the concepts of the publics of culture and cultural expressive practices, always having as main point the cultural offer and reception. Having that in mind it is essential to refer what is the role of the Cultural Animator, as intermediary between the supply and demand, in other words, between the public agent and the public. The empirical research of this work pretends to answer the question “How to contribute to give visibility to expressive cultural practices near the public?” starting with the reality in the city of Leiria, from the perspective of Socio-cultural Animation, and has the following goals: to dynamize the spaces and cultural industries of creative excellence, giving them a major public visibility; to promote the existent expressive arts in the city of Leiria, bringing them closer to the public; to reinforce the importance that the creative and cultural industries, and recreational associations have in the formation and intervention of arts and culture in the community; to preserve and promote cultural equipments and promote the capacity of intervention of expressive arts through an annual arts festival, with the collaboration of cultural equipments, cultural associations, museums, art galleries, art schools (music, dance, theatre...) and the autarchy. In this sense, the project consists of making an arts festival, aimed Leiria’s community, and the community in which it may participate actively in the artistic and cultural dynamics that cultural offer.
