Events

The students' participation in the events organised by the ESPP Career Services office are excellent opportunities for the students to project their career, through direct contact with the labour market.

During these events, there is a positive and enriching exchange, also for the organisations that are present, as they enable direct contact with potential employees.

  • Employability Forums (taking place in March and November)

(i) Employability Forums (March): The Employability Forum is an event that seeks to enable students to acquire knowledge and opportunities of contact with recruiting organisations, allowing them to develop employability skills. For such, the organisations have their own stands and provide a diversity of presentations and/or thematic workshops.

This also aims to enable the participating organisations to recruit talents of Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

2019 Edition

(ii) Inclusive Recruitment Forum (November): The key goal of this forum is to debate the employability of disabled persons and foster their integration in the labour market, through its discussion among employers, academics and students.

2019 Edition

  • Thematic Workshops

Thematic and technical workshops are organised throughout the year to endow the students with a variety of different knowledge and skills.

Each session focuses on an area of expertise of the invited organisation/specialist.

  • Job Shadowing

This activity consists of the organisations taking on board students who will follow one workday of a professional within their area, enabling the students to grasp the main tasks associated to the different functions, in an informal and relaxed manner.

If you are interested in providing this experience to students, please contact us through: career-services.espp@iscte-iul.pt
