The Ethics Committee of the School of Technology and Architecture (ISTA) is the result of the decentralisation of Iscte's Ethics Council, and is embodied in the attribution of competences to issue, within the scope of the respective scientific and/or disciplinary areas, opinions on questions of an ethical nature raised in matters of teaching, scientific research, the provision of services to the community and the functioning of the respective organic unit.

The Ethics Committee aims to ensure that the teaching staff and researchers of the School of Technology and Architecture at Iscte receive adequate support and monitoring in terms of respect for ethical principles in the areas of scientific research, teaching and interaction with society.
