The current dynamism surrounding digital transformation in organizations, public and private, has highlighted demanding challenges. The potential application of mathematics and computing is multidisciplinary and the challenges of digital transformation arise in multiple sectors of activity. A digital transformation agent is a process and system transformer. As such, its intervention goes far beyond replicating existing processes digitally.

In addition to being able to pursue Master's studies, the future graduate is prepared to join employment sectors such as technology, finance and consultancy. You will be able to develop a career in internationalized companies and in national or international organizations, including European Union structures, scientific laboratories and environmental agencies.

The training in applied mathematics and computing in this degree provides the necessary skills to intervene in a creative, multi and interdisciplinary way in solving a wide range of problems and in decision making. His flexibility of reasoning and adaptation to various contexts, and the ability to implement, analyze and communicate mathematical techniques and solutions, allow him to make a difference in project teams where he contributed to the analysis of large volumes of data, modeling of phenomena real estate, operations planning, process optimization, development of systems and technological services, risk and investment analysis, information analysis and management, among others.
