Programmes can offer all vacancies in the first phase or distribute them by phase. Vacancies not taken up in a phase are carried over to the next phase. The opening of the next application phase is subject to the existence of vacancies.

Requirements

Applications from holders of a master's degree or legal equivalent in any scientific area are accepted.

Applications may also be accepted from:

a) holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in any scientific area, holders of a particularly relevant academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this cycle of studies;

b) holders of a specially recognized academic, scientific or professional curriculum, attesting to the ability to complete the study cycle.

Specific selection and seriation criteria

Application procedures

a) Updated curriculum vitae; 
b) Research project plan or motivation letter;
c) Qualification certificates. Supporting documents must be submitted with the final classification obtained to complete the degree(s); and the respective positive scale(s), for certificates issued by foreign institutions;
d) Document(s) proving the curricular units completed to obtain the degree(s), respective classifications and duration of the course(s);
e) Civil identification document (citizen card, passport or equivalent legal document);
f) Digital passport photograph.
