SIL-Iscte 2025 is Iscte’s first research symposium, which offers an opportunity for undergraduate students from any of the university’s scientific areas to make original scientific contributions in their field of study, both from a theoretical point of view and with applicability to the institutional or business communities.

This symposium aims to bring together students, academics, researchers, professionals from institutions and companies, and to promote scientific advancement and the free exchange of knowledge, based on open science principles. It also aims to stimulate and develop undergraduate students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, oral and written expression skills, which make them prime candidates for 2nd and 3rd cycle research development opportunities and other competitive opportunities after graduation.
