Este trabalho, intitulado “Reintegração Familiar de Crianças e Jovens em Perigo”, é o resultado de uma investigação integrada no Mestrado em Serviço Social do Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), acerca do processo de reintegração familiar em cinco Casas de Acolhimento Residencial (CAR) do distrito de Lisboa. No enquadramento teórico deste estudo procuramos explicitar aspetos relativos à criança e ao jovem em perigo, ao sistema de acolhimento, à reintegração familiar, a intervenção do assistente social com as crianças e jovens em situação de acolhimento ,assim como as suas famílias. Para tal, utilizámos metodologia qualitativa, desenvolvida numa lógica indutiva, aplicada em entrevistas qualitativas semi-estruturadas para recolher os dados pretendidos para a investigação. Para o tratamento das entrevistas, utilizámos a técnica de análise conteúdo no sentido de analisar e interpretar a mensagem dos entrevistados. O objetivo central desta investigação é compreender o papel do assistente social na intervenção junto de crianças e jovens em perigo assinalando os desafios e dificuldades que este enfrenta.

This work, entitled "Family Reintegration of Children and Youth in Danger", is the result of an integrated research in the Master of Social Lisbon University Institute Service (ISCTE), about family reintegration process in five Residential Home Rental (CAR) of the district of Lisbon. In the theoretical framework of this study we seek to clarify aspects related to children and youth at risk, to the host system, family reintegration, the intervention of the social worker with children and youth in foster situation, as well as their families.For this, we used qualitative methodology, developed an inductive logic applied in semi-structured qualitative interviews to collect the required data for research. For the treatment of the interviews, we used the content analysis technique in order to analyze and interpret the message of respondents. The main objective of this research is to understand the role of social worker in intervention with children and young people in danger noting the challenges and difficulties it faces.
