Enrollment in stand-alone curricular units can be done by any student enrolled in a higher education course, or by any other interested individual, provided that the unit has an opening for said student and is happening in the current academic year. Upon enrollment, admitted applicants can choose whether to be evaluated in this class or not.

Registration/enrollment in stand-alone curricular units at Iscte is done through FÉNIX, the academic management system. The applicant will receive a message in their email which indicates their access credentials; they should then enter the system and begin their application within 2 hours.

Enrollment is done at the beginning of each academic year, by the deadlines stipulated by the legally responsible bodies. Upon enrollment, admitted applicants can choose whether or not to be evaluated in this class.

Enrollment in and attendance of stand-alone units requires paying the tuition due for each unit. Tuition details can be found in Despacho nr. 114/2019 of the Iscte Rectory.
