Accommodation

Renewals and new applications for University Accommodation for the 2026/2027 academic year will take place according to the following timeline:

• RENEWALS - all displaced students* already accommodated in the 2025/2026 academic year in Iscte residencies/hostels : must complete the application form between June the 2nd and June the 30rd and select the “Renewal” option. After this deadline, no further renewal applications will be accepted. Students who were accommodated in 2025/2026 and fail renew within this period will not be eligible to apply as new applicants.

• NEW APPLICATIONS – Displaced students* who will be joining Iscte for the first time, or who are already attending Iscte but have not been accommodated in Iscte residences/hostels during the 2025/2026 academic year : must complete the application form from June the 2nd until all places are filled and must select the “New Application” option;

The application form can only be submitted after you are enrolled on a course at Iscte and have an active institutional email account (XXXXXXX@iscte-iul.pt).

The following groups have priority in the allocation of places:

• Displaced students already in accommodation during the 2025/2026 academic year (renewals);
• Iscte students who are displaced and hold scholarship status from the Instituto Ensino Superior, I.P. (formerly DGES), and students in situations of humanitarian emergency;
• Other displaced Iscte students, including those participating in the ERASMUS+ Programme, the “European University” network, or other international mobility agreements established with Iscte.
