Borrowing books

The book borrowing service involves providing documents for reading outside the library or Iscte facilities. This service is reserved exclusively for internal users of the library or users from institutions with which Iscte has signed a Protocol in this context.

If you are unable to visit the library, you can delegate the collection of books to another person after completing and delivering the respective authorization and copy of the user's identification document. The person who comes to collect the books must also present the identification document included in the authorization.

Renewal of the document loan period must be carried out through your personal area in the library catalogue, preferably up to two days before the end of the loan period and will be granted twice consecutively, except if the item is reserved.
