Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes

BIP aim to:

• Add value, develop short, intensive and joint mobility curricula and activities (i.e. blendedd summer or winter schools in Europe).
• Must have an innovative approach to teaching and learning.
• Open to all schools, departments and study cycles.

Characteristics

• It is compulsory to include a period of physical mobility of short duration (from 5 to 30 days) and a virtual period of indefinite duration to be carried out before or after.
• Participation of at least 3 universities from 3 different programme countries (Iscte + two universities).
• A minimum of 15 participants, either students for study or staff for training (recommended: around 15/20 participants).
• In addition, there may be participants from universities in third countries, but they do not receive a grant, nor do they count towards the funding below.
• A minimum of 3 ECTS must be awarded to students.

Iscte may apply as

1. Organiser of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP incoming)
2. Sending students to Blended Intensive Programmes organised by other partner universities (BIP outgoing)

In both options, the application for funding is always made through the International Relations Service.
