Societal Health

A definition of Societal Health is imposed at the beginning of Iscte-Saúde as something that is simultaneously aggregating and provocative, yet also points the way forward. To define this concept, which is necessarily under construction, we mobilised more than 40 Iscte teachers and researchers working in the field of health. We agreed on a holistic, interdisciplinary, global approach built with everyone's involvement, capitalising on the contributions of the past years in which Iscte was "doing" health. In its own way. There was and is Saúde do Iscte! Thus, by collecting dozens of small lights and aligning them, a strong lighthouse was created.
