O presente trabalho de projeto visa propor o desenho e a criação de um roteiro cultural circunscrito ao território continental português, centrado na temática dos mosteiros cistercienses femininos. O legado histórico-social deixado pela Ordem de Cister é extremamente relevante. Não apenas por se ter demostrado significativo no processo de afirmação do Reino de Portugal enquanto uma entidade política autónoma, mas também devido a todo o património material e imaterial que marcou o panorama medieval e moderno português. Neste sentido, através da utilização da ferramenta do storytelling, e no âmbito deste trabalho, foram construídas diversas narrativas centradas na temática do ramo feminino da Ordem de Cister, com o objetivo de criar um produto novo e diferenciador que tem em vista dar a conhecer, de um posto de vista mais pessoal, a vida das monjas que habitaram os mosteiros cistercienses femininos portugueses. Numa primeira parte, este trabalho de projeto revê a literatura relativa à Ordem de Cister e ao seu ramo feminino, abordando tanto o contexto geral como o nacional, identificando as suas origens, importância e influência. Numa segunda parte, foi realizado o levantamento de informação relativo a Roteiros Culturais, expondo as definições de Turismo Cultural e Patrimonial, bem como uma análise do processo de criação de narrativas (storytelling) enquanto ferramenta para o turismo. Por último, na terceira parte, procedeu-se à definição e ao desenho do projeto, tendo em consideração o uso de variados recursos, incluindo o Business Model Canva, a partir do qual foi desenvolvido todo o plano estratégico para a implementação do projeto.

This project aims to design and create a cultural itinerary limited to the Portuguese mainland centered on the theme of the feminine Cistercian monasteries. The historical and social legacy left by the Cistercian Order is extremely important. Not only because it proved significant in the process of affirmation of the Kingdom of Portugal as an autonomous political entity, but also because of all the material and immaterial heritage that marked the medieval and modern Portuguese panorama. To this end, through the use of storytelling, several narratives were constructed around the theme of the female branch of the Cistercian Order, with the purpose of creating a new and unique product that aims to make known, from a personal point of view, the lives of the nuns who inhabited the Portuguese female Cistercian monasteries. The first part of this project includes a revision of the literature on the Cistercian Order and its female branch, addressing both the general and national contexts, and identifying its origins, importance, and influence. The second part is dedicated to gathering information concerning Cultural Routes, outlining the definitions of Cultural Tourism and Heritage Tourism, as well as an analysis of the process of creating narratives (storytelling) as a tool for tourism. Lastly, in the third part, the project was defined and designed, considering the use of various resources, including the Business Model Canva, from which the entire strategic plan for implementing the project was developed.
