Student Travelcard

The Sub23 Pass is a free public transport pass intended for young people and students.

All primary, secondary and higher education students up to the age of 23 (inclusive) are entitled to a free monthly pass, valid on public transport services within their area of residence and study.

Currently, within the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, public transport is free for all young people up to the age of 24 (inclusive), regardless of their student status, provided they reside in this metropolitan area.

Where can I obtain the free Navegante Pass?

The pass can be activated and loaded through the Navegante® App. Alternatively, you may visit a Navegante® service point, store or customer service centre operated by any public transport provider and present a valid identification document proving your age.
