O presente estudo procura compreender a dinâmica dos regimes considerados híbridos. A partir da análise de alguns indicadores relacionados com a cultura política destes países, procuraremos entender de que forma é que os regimes híbridos revelam níveis de estabilidade positivos.
A pesquisa passa por uma análise comparada e micro, referente ao ano de 2012, dentro da região da América Latina. O modelo de análise passa pela relação entre indicadores culturais – nomeadamente as orientações face à democracia - e os níveis de apoio ao sistema político: estes resultados serão analisados em contraste, dado que os casos de estudo serão divididos entre regimes democráticos e híbridos.

The current study aims to understand the dynamics that are implied in the functioning of hybrid regimes. By considering some variables related to the political culture of these countries, we will look for elements that promote the maintenance of this particularly kind of regimes.
The investigation is made through a comparative and micro analysis, regarding 2012 survey applications, by the Latin America Public Opinion Project (LAPOP). The relationship between the chosen cultural variables –in particularly, the levels of democratic affection - and the levels of political support are on the basis of our research.
Our purpose is to deepen the already existing theory that surrounds hybrids regimes with empirical data. We believe that this subject, although it already deserves much attention from comparative politics, has yet many answers to respond.
